Discovered in Paris: Faz and her monumental garden sculptures

OK, I am now back from Paris !!!

It was a great stay and the first discovery I'd like to share is Faz.

She has been showcased around the world: The French Senate, Shanghai, Greece, The EU...

I will leave it to Marc Levy, one of France's most successful contemporary authors to provide a full introduction before you visit her site ( here).

' This Sulla Luna two meter bench is somewhere between sculpture and furniture.  Sulla Luna is inspired by the phases of the moon and our state of fantasy.  It is constructed in fibreglass and coated in brass.  Available in a limited edition series ....'

You can either keep the brass coating and let evolve or have a special coating...I think you can fall in love with name as much as the design! PS : That is not Marko on the bench...

I can only encourage you to explore the work of landscape and garden designer Philip Nixon. A modernist who stays on the right side of the ultra design look... He uses fine art with perfect a propos and provides the impeccable execution for the surrounding garden to live up to it.

When I worked in advertising, we used to make fun of a leading art director who could not start a conversation without saying ' OK fine, but what is the ONE thing that would elevate the whole project and bring it to that next level?'..She was so right though...
